Our Story

“Critics Choice”, “Most Romantic”, “Best Garden Patio” and “The Best Pizza in Milwaukee” are a few of the accolades we have garnered since our opening in November of 2001.  Mia Famiglia has also received stellar reviews from Willard Romantini on his television show, “Always in Good Taste”, Dennis Getto of the Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel, Anne Christenson of Milwaukee Magazine and most recently we were given a rave review by Amy Carlson from Onmilwaukee.com.

The Mia Famiglia menu has evolved since the beginning and, by request; our most recent version includes all of your most requested favorites. Fried Eggplant, Calamari, Minestrone, Strauss Veal Saltinbocca, Pappardelle Alla Bolognese, Tiramisu, and Chocolate Cherry Amaretto Mousse to name a few. All prepared fresh daily by our own award winning Executive Chef Tomas White, Jr. and his great staff.

 Our son Tom, after graduating from Catholic Memorial, went on to Culinary school. Tom has prepared his culinary delights at some of our areas finest restaurants before traveling to Sicily at the invitation of world famous Chef Franco u’ Piscaturi to work directly with him and learn the fine art of cooking fish and pasta entrees, as well as other secret recipes. Our menu is unique as well as Chef Tom’s “daily specials”, and is served by our marvelous wait staff.

Chef Tomas, Mama, Papa, Sisters Michele and Melissa, other family members, husbands Mike and Mark, grandchildren Nick, Hannah, Alex, Sam, and Mia are here to make sure you get the service you deserve.
